Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Spendler mobile application or website (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Spendler, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Spendler is a personal finance management application that helps you track income and expenses, set budgets, manage saving goals, and gain insights into your spending. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use only.

Spendler is a tracking tool only. We are not a bank, financial institution, or financial advisor. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
  • One account per person. You may not transfer your account to another person.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Free vs Premium

Spendler offers a free trial period. Continued access to all features requires an active Premium subscription (monthly or yearly).

Billing

Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's payment terms. Prices are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase.

Auto-renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings.

Refunds

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. Refund requests are subject to Apple's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Introduce malware or any harmful code

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of all financial data you enter into Spendler. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You can export or delete your data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Any financial insights or AI categorisations will be accurate
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements

Financial data you enter is only as accurate as the information you provide. Always verify important financial decisions independently.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Spendler and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or financial loss, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
